Last call for caladiums! $3 per bulb plus shipping, for COLOSSAL bulbs! Smiling After I call Bill tomorrow about our order, I may be back with a "special of the day," but if you've been waiting to jump in with your order, go here right away: The thread "Mid-Atlantic spring 2016 group buy for caladiums, local pick-up" in Classifieds and Group Buys forum

critterologist said:LOL... But it's a good guess the timing won't be good for the swap....

That's an understatement! If my husband wanted to drive out of state for the day, four days before my first baby is due, I'd have a cow, instead. Hilarious! I'm hoping Baby is right on time and Swap day finds Jeff changing diapers and pampering Darcy!! Lovey dubby
Plant it and they will come.

I hope I will be able to come. Maybe I also bring a friend with me. I will have hosta, with very big leaves. Maybe I can find out what they are. I also have Queen of the Night I think called Cereus. I can bring cuttings of them. I got them last year, so they have never bloomed for me.

Food: I can bring something Indonesian. I am not quite sure yet, what. Sorry I am so unsure of everything.

No worries, Francine -- this is an informal, friendly group. Uncertainty is fine; we're just glad you want to join in the fun!

oops, sorry Francine, I forgot you were tantefrancine here! I'll eventually get used to our different "handles" on ATP & DG. Smiling Thanks, Pat, for reminding me gently that this is the Francine we already know!

I'm up in Pittsburgh with my folks for a couple of days, so I'm a little distracted. Smiling Jim is holding down the fort, hoping that progress will be made with painting this week... Charlie does excellent work, but he operates on his own variable schedule.

Will be here a couple extra days, so pls excuse me if I'm not prompt answering posts... My mom had a minor heart attack and will be doing cardiac cath this afternoon, so if you've got an extra prayer lying around, please send it up!

I'll take cuttings of crooked willow, japanese dappled willow, and black pussy willow when I get back. I bet I'll see lots of other things poking up, too. Fun time of year!

Thx! All is well... Mom is home and I'll be heading back tomorrow. If there were no catastrophes, I should have extra tomato seedlings sprouting!

Jill and Robin, your lilies have poked up about half an inch above soil line. Should I refrigerate the pots?

No need to refrigerate, just stick the pots outside! They'll be fine. If there's a hard freeze, I'll cover new lily tips, but we should be pretty good now.

Lisa, I'm hoping to hear from Bill soon re. shipping caladium bulbs. Lilies will be here in time for the spring swap, although I might see if Ednie can ship sooner (next week?) with the good planting weather we've been having.

SSG, I'd like to try some of your carolina jessamine, if it's still available!

Is the tool up yet where you offer things and also place 'dibs' on certain things?
