I am thankful that it is about 60 degrees out so that the deluge of rain was just rain. Otherwise we would have had quit the snowstorm. Give me rain anyday.

Not corny. Been without decent clothes, and once I couldn't go to school for nearly a month because I literally had no shoes. Not corny at all.

Thankful for a warm home in this chilly weather. Thankful for a warm cozy bed last night as the wind howled away outside. Thankful I did not have to go outside overnight in that depressing wind chill temperature.

Thankful I stocked up on food afew days ago and my freezer and fridge are full.

Ronnie ... sorry to hear you had to go through that. We have annual fund drives up here to provide shoes and coats for children in need of these things so that they don't have to miss school.

I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

During my childhood, I seldom had decent clothes. It's hard when you sometimes don't even want to play outside in the winter because your parents can't afford warm enough clothes. I'm definitely thankful for clothes...and for heat in the winter, A/C in summer.

Even though it was a week late in happening Alex got paid yesterday so he was able to pay me back the money he borrowed for gas and food. Tough to work and make ends meet when ya wrecked your car, (months ago) have to borrow Mom's plus gas money because the pay due was a week late in being paid. Thankful that he is VERY GOOD at what he does so should stay busy
