This is a late comment on Sherlock, ButI love love Sherlock. Martin Freeman is great, even opposite Cumberbatch. (sp) I loved Fargo the first year with Billy Bob Thornton the first season, did anyone watch the second year? Was it good?

We watched a movie called "Remember" a few months back, It had a twist that totally got by me till the end. It is about revenge for Auschwitz. It has two old actors in leading roles. It is one of the best movies I have seen in years. Martin Landau (original Mission Impossible) and Christopher Plumber star.

I wasn't able to see the whole first season of Fargo because it wasn't available on FX Canada, but the second season was great! Stars included Patrick Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, and Ted Danson. Highly recommended.
I understand Ewan McGregor is slated to star in season three.
Looking forward to the next season of Penny Dreadful as well; we are well behind as it will not broadcast here until spring 2017 I believe.

Finished watching at Amazon mini series Dr. Thorne, adapted for tv by Julian Fellowes, and then watching another masterpiece classic entitled Home Fires, though a bit sad to see that this series has been cancelled after two seasons..oh well..

We watched the movie Ms. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, I always enjoy watching Tim Burton films Smiling

Tarev,
We have been waiting for Ms. Peregrine's to come out and now it has. When it's playing here, we'll take the two older grandsons with us. I can't wait!!

Read Mrs. Peregrine's....It was good until about 3/4 of the way then I couldn't finish it.

West World started on HBO last night. MAN! It's going to be good. They replayed it after the first showing. I am glad, I didn't understand a lot of things in the show. Sci-Fi meets Western.

There are a lot of movies out that I want to see. I might just hole up in the theater and watch a triple feature this week some time!

Was it the movie or the book better, Cheryl? I think that you're saying the book would be the better option, right? Confused

I haven't seen the movie. The book was really, really good at the start and through the middle. Then I couldn't get through the rest of it. It got boring. I'm not attracted to the movie for some reason?

Is anyone going to see Trolls?

As a child my sister had a few hundred I used to make homemade movies with and at one point I uploaded some to YouTube. maybe my videos were an inspiration for the movie?

So happy to watch The Imitation Game last night in netflix. And Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role even better.
Sad that the character he portrayed died early in life, a mathematician ahead of his time.

Instead of staying in and watching TV we took in a late night show to see Hell or High Water before it left the theater. It was really good. It was about Modern Day (West Texas) Cowboy bank robbers. Chris Pine is easy on the eyes. I liked him better as a cowboy than in Star Trek. (young Capt. Kirk).
