Neal, is it this one? Goes by "4ever Goldy", "Forever Goldie", "Forever Goldy".

I hope it does well for you! It make such a nice foundation plant statement!
I am getting ready to plant a second one of my favorite.

I planted it 5 years ago when we moved here and it's over 5 ft tall now and probably 3 ft wide. This shot below was a couple of years ago.

Forever Goldy is what comes up when I do a database search, so I guess that must be it- sure looks like the same plant. That brilliant gold light it provides in the garden is gorgeous! It already seems to glow. Its really fun seeing it begin to take shape Big Grin

Forgot to say earlier how much I love the color scheme of the multi plant photo above! The echos of gold throughout are gorgeous! It very much embodies everything I envision for my 'sunset garden'. Now you've got me thinking I need to dot a few conifers through the other beds!

I just received my Hortico order that I talked about in the second post of this thread. It's the end of the season, so most of the roses are skimpy (but not dead, so that's an improvement over my Hortico orders of years ago). I'll take skimpy, however, because they actually delivered all nine of the roses I had ordered and gave me $6 off on every rose but one. Luckily, that rose is Las Vegas, which is the one I really, really wanted. It has four fat canes and three thinner ones.

The main problem with Hortico orders in past years (aside from the dead plants that usually were included) was the website's extremely lengthy list of offerings, most of which were not available at all. As a result, the delivered order always included a long list of the roses that were put on "back-order." It was a silly misnomer because these roses never showed up, even years and years later. Now the Hortico website only lists the roses they actually have, and it's a major step in the right direction.

The freight costs had to be adjusted upward because of UPS rate hikes, and Hortico apologized for the increase. All in all, I came out ahead because the shipping increased by $11.50 ($38.86 instead of $27.36), but the rose prices decreased by $48.00. I now trust Hortico again, but I'll place my order earlier next season.

Zuzu and I went to a local nursery today, they had a whole row of the White Sparrieshoop and what looked like a branch that had reverted back to the pink version.
These are cell phone shots.

Zuzu, I'm so glad that Hortico has improved and your order came in looking pretty good! I really like that they use multiflora root stock.

Buff Beauty, a wonderful hybrid musk. It makes long arching branches, I have one long cane draped over a metal arbor and a branch on the opposite side draping through my favorite deep blue salvia.

There are two schools of thought here about wood in the garden - some people love the silvery, mellow colour of weathered hardwood while others spend time and money re-varnishing every year... I'm definitely in the soft and silvery camp Lovey dubby

Sue, beautiful!
I have been playing with the idea of getting Buff Beauty but your pics of Aloha make me wonder!
From what I have read Buff Beauty has smaller flowers and is more scented. How would you compare the two as far as repeating goes?

PS. Just love the colours on your Rusty sport.

My memory is so bad I have no idea about their repeats to compare the two. *Blush* @zuzu, any input? I do love both and they are quite different. Buff Beauty, as you said, smaller blooms and it has graceful arching branches, and Aloha is a strong climber.

Another one I love and can highly recommend is Crepuscule, took these shots today. as you can tell, I adore the warmer colors, peace in particular.
