Twilight Gardener, that looks like Afternoon Delight. A very vigorous plant for me. Jan I like your probable Captain Thunderbolt.

This is my Not Batik NoID - it stands about 20 inches to top of bloomstalk, the flowers are larger so guessing it is probably a border bearded or short historic.

Any ideas on what/who it is?

I acquired this last year and potted it so did not map it and the tag is missing from the pot. If anyone sent this one to me please nudge my old brain.

Might this be Deal or No Deal?

As Greg said, Deal or no Deal is too new. This has been on my property since I bought it in '97. I'm thinking it dates back probably to the 60's, or possibly 70's. I've looked through everything Plough did (or at least what had pictures).. Same with Opal Brown. I've also looked forwards and back at the lineages of Amigo's Guitar, Dutch Master, Milestone, Gypsy Lullaby, Gala Madrid, and a couple of others..

Niki: Is Persian Berry an older cultivar? The lady who planted it has been gone from this property
somewhere around 10 years, so I'm guess it has to be 20-30 years old.

Thanks, Arlyn. It's a beauty, isn't it? And a huge bloom.

Its been pouring here so I'm sure this bloom has been beaten up pretty bad.

Along with the new NGA I've decided to change my name also. I look out my door and "i c iris" blooming... Hilarious!

Oh -- and Niki is most certainly correct on your rose-colored NOID. The red on the shoulders of the bloom are a dead give-away. Did I send you that one too?
