Thanks Ted!
My aromatica puts on new growth, it is doing so right now, but I don't see any signs of buds right now. Perhaps it got too much sun. I will try different locations this year.

I am very consistent with Lycaste in that I have killed every one of them. Thumbs down

Beautiful Den tetragonum, Ted.

Thanx, Jim.
Except for the Lycaste I just bought, they all start to lose their leaves just before I see little spikes. By the time it blooms all the old leaves are long gone and the start of the new leaves are just beginning to show

My growing conditions just are not right for them.

While walking in the garden, I noticed this nice Epi. radicans blooming under an oak tree.

Ted, your NOID Cym..is soo pretty! I'm giving them a second chance after seeing that they can be grown in Florida..I did not do well with them in NC. Blinking
Well Jim, at least you are consistent ! That's a really pretty Tolumnia and it sure looks happy on that log!
I got a chance this morning to do a proper portrait of Rlc. William Farrell 'Dawn Light'

and (if the experts are available) could someone please tell me what is going on with my Den. aggregatum? It's putting out many new growths. Hurray! but they all have 2 leaves...

I'm no expert for sure...they don't even look like they belong on the same plant! Very strange! maybe something was just waiting to grow in your potting mix or something???

I'm with you, Patty. Lindsey the leaves don't look at all like Den. aggregatum, since they're round, shiny and darker green as well as a pair instead of one. The new growth in your last picture looks like a cattleya, not a Den. Do the pseudobulbs look like the aggregatum ones?

If not, I think I'd gently try to remove those growths, and maybe pot them up separately to see what comes along.

There is nothing wrong with a Dendrobium aggregatum having 2 leaves /growth. I just checked mine, some of the newer growth also has 2 leaves, although they are not that roundish.
Is it possible that this plant was pushed perhaps a bit and kept somewhat shady?

For some reason, my laptop is not getting the photos from my desktop so I can't ( at the moment) show you other views. .but the p. bulbs are very similar to aggregatum..a couple of folks from the Florida Orchid growers FB page suggested that something I fed it had done this....all I could think of was Tampa Orchid Club,Laura Newton's 'Potion #9' ....which I started using a few months ago..

I recently repotted it Ursula...and it's been on the shadier side of the bench. I don't have much experience with Den's..and it looks to me , like it needs more sun and maybe more epsom salts?

Jim, cute Tolumnia and you can't beat Epi radicans for always bringing some nice color.

Lindsey, very nicely done on the Rlc. William Farrell 'Dawn Light'!

Lindsey, I think it is as green as it getss, regarding the Epsom salt! Smiling
They can take a good deal of sun, at least around here. I keep mine in the sunniest corner of the greenhouse, in a south facing window.

Thanks Ursula, I'll move it over a bit to catch a little more sun...with the trees leafing out, I may have to move my benches off the patio and out on to the weed patch that passes for 'lawn'! Hilarious!

I just got my new B. Little Stars and Maikai 'Mayumi' from @drdawg aka, Tropical Plants & More! They are in wonderful condition after shipping and I am extremely excited about the new additions, and can't wait to care for them and see them bloom! Thank you so much, Ken, for the wonderful product, help, and care.
