Oh my, now I can see everything Cynthia. What a great rock garden the two of you have created. The tufa rock is a great rock to use for this type of garden as the succulents can grow in the tiny crevices. The new photos a wonderful for letting us see detail. Thank you so much Cynthia. And we all are so happy you have joined our hardy succulent family.
I feel what make our site such a great place is the contributions everyone adds to our learning process. Especially since we all live in different climates and soil types. And as Chris said in the above post, 'We are such enablers' when it comes to growing the fascinating plants.
Would love to have you add photos to the database when you have time. Close-ups of each plant or clump of plants is great for that purpose. We also like to include info for the photo, as that helps us see how that particular cultivate is doing in your conditions.
Here is how most of us are putting the info:
2/11/2011, PNW, zone 8 = date, area plant in grown in (Pacific Northwest), and zone #
It will take time for the photo to show up as it has to be approved before it will post in the entry for that cultivar. If you have a cultivar that doesn't have an entry in the database, just let me know what the name is and I will add it for you, then you can add the photo.
