Sorry, thought I had some. Closest thing I might have to a ground cherry would be Chinese lanterns if that is what you want.

I'm planning on growing them next year so I should have seeds then. I tasted one for the first time last week and they are really good! I'm hoping we have a normal growing season next year. I don't think they would have done well this year with our drought.

DnD,
Is this the last night of the swap, or is there one more night tomorrow? I know it started on Friday night, so guessing this is the end of bidding??

You should still have access to trading...I believe tonight (Friday, in the states) is the last night, according to what I put in the system. Trading ends at midnight (GMT) Saturday, September 10, which is this evening at whichever time is applicable to your time zone.

I'm sorry I didn't see your message sooner! I've been exhausted this week. I was only supposed to work Tuesday and then have the rest of the week of to work on gardening, seed swapping, hybridizing (entering data on all of my seed pod harvests), and cleaning the house, but they asked me to work all week instead and I've barely been able to come on NGA at all. :-/

I've been searching all week for a pack of seeds to offer and just found it this morning. Before the swap ends, does anyone want me to list some Japanese Iris seeds? They are from Henry's White. I wintersowed them last winter and most germinated. With the drought only one survived so you'll have to keep them really wet! Just let me know.

Ouch, DND!

Work does have an annoying way of interfering with fun! I hope you still had time to bid on everything you wanted.

(I always hide the "zero quantity" items so I don't notice when I miss something that I had wanted to bid for. That way, every Bid is a Win!)

Jim, I recommend sowing the seeds in coir potting mix since it retains water better than anything else I've tried. These are water lovers! Mine is in a pot but when I plant it I'm going to add lots of coir to the soil. I've got one small spot in my yard that stays wetter than normal. That's where it's going but first I need to move the Lilium regale that are there.
