Elena, I'd love to trade some of my pentas for some of your dahlia. We can arrange for after the swap when both are actually ready. :)

I sure hope everyone got everything they wanted today! I know I have. Thanks ya'll. The offerings are pretty great and I'm tickled pink!

Where Do I go? To my wish list?
And how to I bid/take an item I want?

Hi Val

I'm sure you've figured it out already, but here's an answer for others:

1. Go to Seed Swap Home page using the far-left, blue menu bar link for "Seed Swaps" - it's a few pages down.
2. Page down, click "DnD's ALL SEEDS SWAP (Int'l)"
3. Click "» Access your wishlist for this swap"

4. In the second column, titled "Plant", you will see some brown-red rectangles that are supposed to be treasure chests. Click that to request the seeds in that row.

5. In some text at the top, it will say "you have 3 tickets". You can remember how many times you clicked, and after three clicks, if you hit "Refresh" (F5 in some browsers), you will see that you have "0 tickets". But you have to refersh to see it.

(Mine says "You have 0.5 tickets left, so SOMEONE grabbed one of my offers!! Goodie!)

P.S. I have a clickable link in my signature block, " ~~ DnD’s Seed Swap Aug 2016 ~~
That will take you directly to Step # 3.
Or you can use this link: http://garden.org/apps/swap/vi...

@KarenHolt - I got my top 3 Hurray!

Thank You! everyone very fun.....can't wait until tomorrow. Husband asks can we go out for dinner etc. My response I have to be on my phone at 6:00 pm Rolling on the floor laughing

I had a seed picked out for my second go round but it was bid on.....that's okay it's just not meant to be. I didn't go for daylilies because there was a lot of wishes for them and I'm not picky on them because I haven't really grown them but have collecting a few seeds from swaps to redo a flower bed in the front. Our tulips petered out and needs to be replaced!

Jimard, I'm eating some horribly bad bread with cheese and pepperoni stuffed in it. But it's worth it. I wouldn't miss the dibbing for nothing, lol.

Val - When the week is over, we will be sad. We will try to look forward to this again next year, although it's not beyond me to want to do this again before the next season starts... I do have 2 new flowers that haven't been collected yet... Lol. But truly, the packing begins then. You'll be able to print out a paper that has a list of who gets what from you. It's fun. I try to pack as I go but this year I'm behind, so I'll pack after I get seeds packaged. I'm still doing that. Uggh. And collecting but I did finally pull my zinderellas this week. Today I pulled the bombay celosias. I'm going to miss those two this winter.

Lol, you guys! Val, I'm glad you had fun! I hope it was just as worth it as others told you, and then some. I think you are now under the 'seed swap spell'... Don't say we didn't warn you. Whistling

We haven't heard from some of our other new members, so I'm hoping they will check in soon here.

Remember that at the end of this swap, I will be taking a poll on how well you liked the timing (of the year) of this swap, etc.

Also, keep collecting seeds, even after the swap end, because you can still hang onto them for the next one. And you never know when the next one might be... Whistling

Haha, Jim! Wow, you guys are dedicated! Glad to know we all crazy about the seed swap, although I hope your sister doesn't take it personally, Jim!

Hopefully note you guys can all go eat your fingers, have your cigarettes, or otherwise try to return to life as normal until the next flurry of excitement starts tomorrow night.

Well, I guess after the week's over, I"ll be busy packing seeds to send off and able to look forward to the ones I got in the swap; then planning next year. I have a terrible habit of overdoing (esp'lly WSing, and started a bunch of things inside) and I'm running out of room, so I'm going to have to pick and choose what I REALLY want to grow/plant, I guess.

I told my husband we need to buy a house with alot more land, then I thought about all the things I've planted the past 3 yrs (dug up most of the back yard sunny/part sunny) and made gardens everywhere I could. NO way am I giving up my gardens to go start again! LOL! Who knew they'd be practically filled in 3 yrs!? LOL! This year my gardens have blooms all over, one plant is done, another starts. This is really what I hoped to achieve. I dont spend much time on the deck enjoying them, I'm too busy weeding, planting, etc.!
I DO love it.

This year I went to alot of containers for things like dahlias, so I dont have to remember to dig them up.

I am having a ball, it's definitely a labor of love, as you all know!
