I'd hang this one on my livingroom wall in a second, you should really sell raw copies of this one. I love the intricate design on whatever the perch is and the baby Titmouse is absolutely adorable... Lovey dubby

it was a hanging feeder with a christmas ornament / gazing ball in the middle , but chain broke as did the ornament , tried replacing it that failed too.
so we set it on a stump, stump rotted , now it sits on cinder blocks. and it has poor drainage , always fills up with water when it rains. it does make a good extra feeding station on sunny days though.

mutant sparrow , saw it yesterday and manage to get a few shots of it today.

pretty sure it is a baby and a slightly feeble looking runt , but it also has white streaking in it's wings , which I have never seen before

I read here some time ago that bird feathers turn white when the bird has been exposed to certain agricultural chemicals. For a couple of years there were lots of sightings of blackbirds with white feathers and that is what the scientists concluded. I hope your little sparrow recovers, whatever the cause. Sad

I put some birdseed on the bird table to try to get some photos for here, but it attracted instead FOUR juvenile squirrels. Yikes! But given that turtle-birds and snake-birds are allowed, I thought another squirrel-bird or two would be OK, so I grabbed the camera. I didn't manage a photo with all four together, but here's one with two on the table:

One in particular was less timid than the others and I got really close before it took off

Lovely pictures of the squirrel, very attractive the way that tame one looks with its tail all fluffy. I know its a pest but so darn cute! Rolling my eyes.

Wonderful photo of all three birds. Thumbs up

Now I just have to show you all what must be the largest birdhouse in Texas, maybe the world! Hilarious! Actually, hubby has been working on building the chickens a new house for the past two years because the floor is rotting away in their current coop. We noticed a bird had made a nest in there awhile back but we've just left it alone. Yesterday I thought I would check to see if anyone is still using the nest.

From first glance I can't see anyone around.

Largest bird house hopes to one day be a chicken house. Rolling my eyes.
