I was pleasantly surprised last night when storm clouds rolled in and it started to pour . It didnt last very long maybe 2 hours but at least it was liquid . It came down hard , we never seem to get a gentle rain anymore . Winds whipped up but they we high up the tops of the trees being tossed around pretty hard but not too much movement near the ground . The plants obviously loved it and colors of the daylilies were much more intense today ......the weeds , well they just seem to keep coming and seemed to double in size over night .

We finally got an inch of rain overnight last night!! Temps have been sweltering for the last several days, and the rain is such a relief! Today's temp 84. Slight chance of thunderstorms before 8:00pm.

It appears that our typical Summer temperatures and humidity will continue....

104 on the shady patio right now. I need to put a thermometer in the sun because I am never on the shady patio!

It poured, just poured. Dark and windy with lots of thunder and lightning. Really watered the garden good.

It was cloudy today, and windy. A bit cooler. It started to rain in the morning, but it didn't last. We only got 1/8 inch of rain

It didn't last too long and didn't seem to do any damage. At least not around our neighborhood. But the wind really blew the rain around. And the rain really came down. I am pleased that my garden is well watered.

It cleared back up, the sun and humidity just came right back.

We were hit this afternoon with storms too, the biggie dropped an inch of rain in 15 mins! Of course the gutters clogged with leaves so I had to go out to the barn, get the ladder and unplug them...shoulda brought my soap and wore my crocs... they have holes....my little green shoes (birkenstocks) flooded Earlier today it was partly sunny, low 80's with 70% humidity.

They are calling for a high of 90F. That is pretty typical for this time of year.

Margaret, I looked up Kamloops, and wow, it's just beautiful there!! What are the warmest and coldest average temperatures that Kamloops blesses you with, since your high is only 50F today?

Totally overcast this morning. I am hoping it will rain.

It is 84 degrees with 37% humidity at 6AM...it will be 100 by 10AM....I am going out to do a rain dance...please send us some rain!!!

This morning 74F, humidity at 94%. Looks like it may rain, it is all around us.
