The woman who originally came up with that recipe does a lot of gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and paleo. Some recipes are all that in one so check her site out!! I've tried several and majority came out great!!

Cake was a hit today!! I still managed to bring some home but if I had left it for the overnight crew it would have been gone when I go in tomorrow. I'll definitely be doing crock pot cakes again. Super easy to make.

I've never done a cake in a crockpot before. I'll have to try it!

That is exactly what is next on my list to shove as much as I can in my mouth & eat! Don't like the migraines that would come afterward.

Rocked my Fresh Roasted Pumpkin Pie! With the water content in fresh (roughly) pureed pumpkin, and because i just eyeball the ingredients, I never know how it will turn out until you cut into it. Luckily I had some spare filling to taste. Perfect texture, nice golden color and just enough spice! Thumbs up Next up, Banana Cream Pie a la Paula Deen's, Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding recipe. Made the crust with butter and Chessman Cookies. That's a yummy start!

@piksihk I sort of made it up. Here is Paula Deen's recipe. I just added melted butter to a full package of crushed Pepperidge Farms Chessman Cookies and patted it into a deep dish pie pan. I poured the pudding mixture into the pie and layered bananas in between. More roughly crushed cookies on top for looks. It was a hit as is the pudding always is. I whip my own whipping cream instead of Cool Whip. Makes a world of difference and not fattening at all! Curious if anyone has a favorite recipe for KrumKake? Tried two, first one was way to flaky, 2nd one was too chewy. Thanks

As soon as I read it I thought ..that sounds like italian pizzelle batter ingredients....and then the information said the same thing. My friends mom makes those ..if you can't find what you are looking for I can get her recipe.

You would have liked these! Very chewy! Smiling

1/2 cup unsalted butter 1 cup white sugar 2 large eggs
1 cup milk 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon butter flavoring,
Directions

Heat krumkake iron on stove over medium heat. You can also use an electric krumkake or pizzelle iron.
Cream together the butter and sugar in a bowl. Add the eggs, one at a time, and mix well using a spoon. Pour in the milk, flour, vanilla, and butter flavoring; mix well.
Place a teaspoon of the batter on the preheated iron, and press together. Cook until browned, about 30 seconds per side, depending on the heat. Remove from the iron and quickly roll up around a stick or around a cone before they harden.
As Yogi Berra said, “It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future.”
