awwww. Ted..thanks for sharing! I'll have to look for one of my original photos so we can see how mature it is now.
I can't remember how many people I sold plants to...gave plants to...and only rarely have seen photos of them in bloom afterwards.. I tip my hat to you.

That is what I have in mind too Elaine, but not sure when is the best time to get them.

I just joined this garden org and I love it already. So much to explore. Here is a pic of my bedroom orchids. I still have two in bloom. All your orchids are lovely ! I have an oncidium that has not bloomed in 6 years. I just brought it in so we will see how that goes.

Hi and welcome, catmol. Ted what a pretty show of blooms you've got going on! Hey, do you keep that Paph indoors when the weather's hot? It sure looks happy.

Thanx, Elaine. Actually all my plants save one, Den.bracteosum x Den. tannii 'Red', are outside all summer. Only a few come in during the winter if it gets cold enough. That Paph sits at the edge of the shade cloth and is in the shadow of larger orchids. In the summer, I am always moving the sun loving orchids as not to let them burn. But it's coming to that time of year here that they don't get as much direct sun anymore as the season changes.

Just so that everyone is extra tired of seeing this one repeated . . . two more spikes open on my big NOID and two more with buds breaking out Hurray!

No signs of virus infection on these, either. Tiny bit of thrips damage on one flower is all the trouble it's had.

Ted, I went through some of my photos and found these of 'Maj'...this was in bloom for well over a month! Third week of May 2012 through the end of June.. That was one of the reasons I loved it...and the other was that it did not need to be staked.

Blooming for me this morning..a plant I got in January (in bloom) Aclra. Hilo Ablaze 'Hilo Gold' HCC/AOS.
I'm very happy that when I bought it , it had only 5 buds on it..this bloom cycle it has 11!
