Della. Your seedling is very distinctive. Looks like it would go beautifully with other garden plants. Or just a clump with the pink and white, fabulous.
Glen. I sure hope u had some rain. We had a very heavy shower which topped up my rain tank but whacked some blooms.
This pot of T9 was knocked over so lucky the bloom was OK. Maybe it is PRICKLED PETALS or CREATIVE EDGE. But it is striking, almost glows. Has an overtone of gold/apricot which the camera doesn't capture.
VINTAGE BORDEAUX was black in the morning. Rain must have washed dust down from trees.
HELENA SEABIRD opening a but better today.
COLLIER down in the reed grass has done well, flowering every day.
BRIDAL PATH was pumelled by the rain. It has bad rust so must remove more leaves.
MAKING WHOOPEE is damaged either by critters or my attempts to thwart them.
Nearby either wind or rain or wallabies have messed with this which may be Dixieland Band X Jan's Twister. It is big, and striking. I had to stand in a rose to get a picture. There is tall bracken fern around it.
TROPICAL HEATWAVE had several blooms. Love it.
HOT WIRE got a bit washed off. Bloom is much bigger than earlier ones.
MALENY EYECATCHER above dble white bacopa.
Gardenia bush is covered in bloom and perfuming the whole garden.
LINDEN BELLE didn't open properly but had the largest flower I have seen on it.
Petey the Sweetie happy to be back from the vets and in his garden. He had bad asthma attacks and much lethargy. even stopped going outside, which for him was extraordinary. Blood and urine tests all A1, so relieved.
HEARTS OF FIRE. Even Australian native plants had died there as it is so dry. But the 'boos and the cassias seem to have helped it along.
The dead log is a wattle tree trunk that fell down and is still too heavy to shift. Last year a young koala ran up it after it reached the fence and heard the neighbour's barking dog. After they all came and looked they took the dog away.
Today I planted out a chungi bamboo which is a relief. Lucky the roots aren't deep as after a foot deep the shale was too jarring. I am going to put fill around it
