The beard really compliments the falls. I like that slight orange line at the center of the fall under the beard
Gimme it and I'll grow it!

Both of these are so very different then I would have guessed from that cross, but who's to know.

The next cross I'm going to share is Brazilian Art x Gllamour Pants.

I like the orange markings by the beards and the color saturation is lovely. It reminds me a lot of Brilliant Disguise.

The beards on all of them are really nice. I'm surprised you didn't get any spotted seedlings. I think they're all worthy of crossing again.. Maybe an offspring of Gypsy Lord, or one of Tasco's excellent plicatas.. depending on the direction you'd like to go..

This one is very nice. Perfect color on the beard to compliment the warm tones of the bloom. Another nice one.

Oh that last one is nice too. I like the thin edge on the falls. I think you've got a good eye for selecting crosses.

This is the second year this one has bloomed. It's probably too much like others to keep, I don't like the narrow falls, but the colors are OK.

I had 3 seedlings bloom with short, SDB sized blooms this year. I also had several named irises do the same thing, so I don't know what caused it. I kind of like the colors on this one, but will wait to see what it looks like with a regular sized bloom. Did any of you have this happen this year?
Seems to be trying to have a bit of ruffles. This is a sibling to the one above.

Great unique colors for an SDB so it will probably grow tall this year. I had several TB's that had shorter stalks than normal and the blooms were a bit smaller and the falls stood out more than usual. They also bloomed out of their 'normal' EML and class times.

I've had some grow on short stalks before, but they had normal or close to normal sized blooms, These all had these small blooms too. Star Turn and Multnomah Falls did this same thing too. I had never had that happen before. It must have had some weather related cause I'm guessing.

I also had a bunch of TBs put up SDB size stalks this past year, I think because of the strange winter. I am blown away by that last seedling Tom, it is stunning! That deep red beard is insane Drooling . I hope you get a normal size stalk for next year so you can evaluate it better.
