Got an email from 'Bluestone Perennials' and they have a lot of new stuff for spring. I have recommended this company before and they do have great sales in the fall, but if you see something you must have, get it now!

I always have things in my shopping cart!!

Every month I add a few and delete a few and eventually I buy some plants.

If they like your business they will leave that shopping cart alone!! I will kill anyone who touches my shopping cart.

I actually had someone delete my shopping cart last year, I email them and asked if they had lost their mind??

Polly, are you scared??

I would like to put in a good word for 'New Hampshire Hosta' and 'Blue Stone Perennial's' I have had stuff in my cart for over six months. My hat's off to them.

I can put up with crappy plants, but leave that shopping cart alone! The last person that deleted my shopping cart got their 'bookmark' deleted and I went into the browser and deleted their cookies too!!

I'm thinking about ordering some double Hellebores from Bluestone Perennials. How many years would it take their Hellebores to bloom? Have any of you bought Hellebores from them before?

I actually bought several from SRG at a good price (early bird sale) but I haven't seen any blooms yet. I think they bloom the second year.

I went to a hellebore class on the 15th. One good tip from the class. In the fall keep the hellebores watered well because that is when they are setting flower buds. Makes sence, most plants are shutting down where these are gearing up to bloom.

Most Hellebore take to their third season to bloom and seeds take up to 18 months to germinate. Mamajacks had a co-op you can check if she has any left. Mine are all doing well so far.

I just want to say I agree with Bob, 3 years. But the ones from Mamajacks are the newer, less common ones.

Springcolor, many plants set their flower buds in the fall. Beardless irises are known for that. I fertilize and water them heavy in the fall, with good results. I would have loved that class! Anything else you learned you can share?
