Well I wanted so Hellebores but had already ordered some from somewhere else by the time I saw them. However I am getting some Agastackie and the Eucomis, which is another thing I had already ordered but she had so many different varieties I just went and got one of each, they are sooooo pretty! Lovey dubby The agastackie is beautiful also, I can't wait for spring. Hurray!
My Amaryllis came yesterday from ChefMike and my free ground orchid, they look really healthy!

Also T&T ( Sue Taynors) has some good hosta deals. Her plants are not liners, they are two eyed plants and they are 2.25 each. If anyone cares to mention my name, she might throw me a free one. Hilarious!

From Sue's co-op, I got Empress Wu, Sum and Substance, and Big Daddy.

I'm hoping a couple of the other co-ops she does with Mamajack are a "go" as I've got selections in for some other things.

What did you get?

Mamajack told me she will be doing a co op of the double Winter Jewels Hellebore from Terra Nova . They will be for Fall delivery but she should be able to get the whole collection including the new ones for this year and Painted Doubles which has been hard to find So far these have been my favorite Hellebores.

From T&T I got 3 Fire and Ice and Sagae, just found out I had already order a F&I from someone else and I already have 2 Sagae, but I could not resist because such a good price and they are so beautiful, love the colors on these. F&I is similar(color) to my Loyalist but I believe it is more sun tolerant and upright, they are both slug resistant.
I looked on Country Boys and the Empress Wu is already listed and its 4.80 their prices are usually cheeper than the co-ops for a two year plant. I have been wanting Cathedral Windows, Peppermint Ice and Northern Exposure, I am getting ready to order them from Country Boys because I can't afford the big plants.

I was thrilled with the Hellebores I got from Mamjack 'cause they aren't cheap even on co-ops. Two are preparing to bloom.

Good information! I do not have any Hellebores at the time. I ordered three from Santa Rosa Gardens. Next year I will get some more from MammaJack if they do ok, Someone on this perennial thread said thay had some Hellebores that were self sowing and I believe they said something about 'winter jewels'??
My neighbor said the local feed and seed just got some flowers in yesterday but he can't remember the name, by the description I hear they might just be Hellebores, I will go look. Green Grin!

Bob, I have 2 flats of them, and they have re seeded right around the flats. Semi shade, sandy soil, quite damp. I have gotten 100s of babies from them. I have the Lady Red and the Lady Metallic Blue. They've also re seeded where I planted some in the garden. I'll get pictures this spring.

Susan, here is info on the series. I bought mine originally in flats of 50 plants.

Wow, the Red Lady and both of the Blues are just gorgeous. Guess I like the strong colors in Hellebores.

They are very variable, though. I've had some Metallic Blues that were quite light. I like the strong colors, too, Sheryl.
