They get some sun . They are under some very large Hemlocks but the branches do not start till about 10 feet up so the sun angles in. Leaf cover really does not stay the winds coming up from the lakes blows almost all of them away. I only but bulb booster in when first planted. It might be that I did not get very good bulbs , they did come from a box store. I planted a few from the garden center this fall I will have to see if they do any better.

Unless this area gets steady rains between now and May, I won't be planting anything new--Stage 3 water restrictions. Best for me to not even look.

Give PEACE a chance!

I just went to this garden nursery in Richmond, CA yesterday and loved it there! Called Annie's Annuals and Perennials. They also have a website http://www.anniesannuals.com

I was initially searching online for kniphofia plants and that's when I came across their site. I like that their site is very informative and even better to find out it is just about an hour away from us so we decided to just go there! So as it is got a haul of 10 different plants

Yeah, it's a little tougher on this side of the Mississippi, but it's a great resource for those coming from the dry side. Annie's, and High Country Gardens were 2 favorites, as well as Easy To Grow bulbs when I lived in AZ.

Actually, I still order from Easy To Grow and HCG.

I ordered from HCG also and they are going to deliver on the 20th! I only got two plants though and I have never used them before but I thought the shipping was reasonable.
I was looking something up earlier and I accidentally learned how to grow marijuana! Is this legal yet?
