It did not rain yesterday for a change, but the water drains down the hill into my bog bed, so even if it does not rain for several days the entire area, not just this one bed will continue to get wetter. Rain in is the forecast for the next few days still.

We had a nice steady rain very very early this morning which watered the garden nicely. Now it is bright, breezy and sunny out. Simply a lovely, lovely day.

It is 107 F with a humidity of only 11% but the dew is up to 41 which shows it is more moist. I worked outside this morning till it was unbearable but got some stuff done. So frustrating to be trapped inside because of this heat.

77 and just gorgeous today! We have had a total of 6.5 inches of rain this week, in just two days!!

Woke to 67, cloudy, humid and showers I headed out the door early to get the shopping and errands done and by the time I got home it was starting to clear. A nice breeze picked up this afternoon which blew away all the humidity, 76 now with much drier air.

Making that last payment sounds good when you say it, I'm just not sure I know how it feels yet. In the next few months I know I'll have several moments of panic thinking I forgot to send the payment in... before I remember that I don't need to send them anymore.

You will get used to not having to send that payment in, Char!

Out to DD's this week to do chores. They're in Missouri at Mark Twain Landing. It's a water park with cabins. It is probably cold down there too. I hope it gets warmer so the kids can get wet.
