I am not originally from WI either. I chose WI to live in because it was the first place I have ever lived that has 4 actual seasons (most years.) I love the changes. Fun to be one of those people running around outside in short sleeves the first time it hits 50 in the Spring. I do not really like winter that much but I hate it a little less each year. Learning to dress properly was my first obstacle to overcome. Hey, I am the guy who just bought a new snow blower! We just went through 2 mild winters in a row. I have my fingers crossed for another. I hear ya Gene. I usually work in whatever weather we have. So that's another reason I hate the winters. I could deal with it if I had climate control work environment
Good morning. Chilly and rainy this morning. Everything is pretty soggy out there so won't be doing much work outside. I'll be surprised if we see sunshine today. Lake-effect rain.I have a couple of indoor projects on the schedule today so I'm good with that.

We moved to the country with 12 acres and a semi-long lane. DH felt it necessary to purchase a small tractor with an air conditioned cab, bucket on front for snow and also a mower for yard. First couple years not enough snow to scoop. Then we got snow but he was tired and told me to "drive over" it! I got stuck!! When he did move the snow the scoop took the snow AND gravel off! Tractor too heavy and left ruts in yard so sold the mower and got a blade for back of tractor for snow. Went back to a riding mower for yard. We do use the tractor to move dirt and rock and mulch. Blade works some better for snow. Like I always say, boys and their toys!!
Good morning. It got down to 40F last night under tree canopy. No wind/breeze yet this morning. I think we're supposed to get up to 59F today with mostly sunny skies. Probably will empty the annual pots today and bring in patio stuff. Might even get to putting up some of the insulation in the little gh. DH will be smoking ribs today so it's convenient to do the patio cleaunup so he can keep an eye on them.

Was out at 3 am retrieving a family vehicle , member got stopped full f Beer , in jail today car here , It was in the 30's last night , getting out from under the blanket and out in the night was cold , cold , cold at first , Then the drive out on an old St Rd in a no where land ,,

How about the most tools? My DH would win, hands down - power tools that is, not riding mowers, etc which to me are vehicles.........
He used to get a set for him, and a spare, a set for whomever helped him (and a spare - cuz people who don't own the tools often don't care for them, and break them....... did I say "often"? )

I have numerous tools for work, power and hand tools, then I have the same tools at home and then some. I'm a tool nut! But I lock all my tools up so nobody else can get to them.
