Evan, sorry, I thought I had replied. Yes, I think those pictures you show are hardy cyclamen. They are quite hardy from what I understand ... -10 to -20 (ish). Another thing I want to plant here when I get around to it. I enjoy the foliage of those as much as the flowers. Good thing as my "plant under trees" and shade is limited ... but I have LOTS of full sun.

Thanks Polly and Bob. Barry Glick mentioned that Helebores appreciate more sun than is generally believed and after moving mine, the confirmation you've given lets me cross off one worry. I've only got 4 and while they're not huge seemed to be doing OK.
I agree. That's exactly why I thought he'd make a great addition over here. Besides, he is mostly about shade and I'm mostly about sun. However, if anyone else would like to add on as a moderator, it's great by me. I can let Dave know. No one was moderating Perennials when I took it along with Joy but she hasn't got time right now ... so we're back to just two moderators again. Three is nice, IMHO. Any takers???
Thanks everyone, it is a honor to be able to do this.
Tee I think you have done a great job.
I agree that in a forum as broad as perennials more moderators would be better. I think someone from out west or a different country would be great addition or someone that has interest in plants that are different then Tee and myself do.
