My brother's anniversary of his passing is tomorrow ..2 years. Time has passed so quickly. . It was a bad day. ..but glad for him. His illness created a situation for him that he hated. Could not fish in his beloved Everglades.

Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

That so reminds me of my brother Kevin! He said had he known the chemo was going to make him so sick that he could no longer have the strength to fish, or a appetite to eat he would of gone without and enjoy the rest of his days. God bless our brothers.

I do want to share this. Two things happened that seemed so very real. One happened to me, I had a dream a few months after my brother Kevin passed away, it was the morning of the 4th of July and I had just woke up from a vivid dream where he came and picked me up on a flying carpet and we rode over the beaches (I lived in CA. then) I could actually smell the burgers on the BBQ. Next thing is this that happened to my sister: she said it seemed so very real that my brother and dad were sitting on the edge of her bed and told her not to be sad that in Heaven they were fishing and drinking beer and happy.

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!

My mom had a frozen knee from a knee replacement gone bad and a colostomy when she passed away. My dream was that she was dancing and happy and she could bend her knee. I needed that dream
