I must say that it is taking longer now to load the pictures for me, but I am on dial-up and using IE 8 so I guess I am kind of the Amish of the computer users here. Hilarious! The photos are very sharp and I do not mind the grey thing, just so slow. Crying

Sorry for the blank post. I edited it out. Should have noted deleting comments. Wanted to bop around a bit more.

I just noticed that the "resolution" (correct description?) of ATP is smaller (after doing a -zoom reset-) than before. Smaller than Cubits as well. I wondered if it wasn't something I did. Still not sure. FF10 coincidentally prompted for an update.

Does the lightbox functionality affect how some adds display?
Thumb of 2012-02-19/eclayne/0eb41b Unable to do proper print screen for some reason.
I often have 2 windows open for viewing/comparison. ex. ATP DB Arisaema and Other DB Arisaema. Usually tiled vertically. The sidebar ads reposition themselves as shown.

No, they are completely unrelated. We have a thread going about the ads here:

dave said:I can't make this scrollable. This is why it was set to resize the image in the first place, so it all fits in your screen without needing to scroll.

I'll have to re-write it using a completely different approach if we want both, and I have to admit I'm tired of working on it at this point. What we have is something that works in Chrome (the old one didn't work well in Chrome) so I'm hesitant to do much more to it for the time being.

No Scrolling is No Problem. I only mentioned it because I couldn't see propose image. With the slight re-size you did the entire image shows now so it's all good. The click on image to close is much more convenient than before you did this. The whole feel is much slicker now. That's slicker in a good way. Don't know how to describe it. Cleaner, more high tech, but more comfortable at the same time. Thumbs up Thumbs up

ATP Mambo enlarged in light box is smaller than it was Sunday. I hit Shift/Refresh, but Mambo is not as large, or detailed as yesterday. Should I go to Chrome? Did I miss something?

You're right. It is smaller now, and the symbol in the lower lefthand corner is ambiguous. Looks a little like a prompt for dumping it in the trash.

Downloaded Chrome yesterday. Impressed w/speed. Unimpressed w/lack of functionality. I'll wait til it's a desktop browser.

Strange, when you open a photo now it doesn't say "propose for plant database," it has that little symbol (that DOES look a lot like a trashcan), which I believe serves the "propose" purpose. I think we need it spelled out for us... Whistling

I think that a lot of new members would not recognize that as a symbol for the Database. Confused

I agree

I waited a few days to see how I like the new photo setup.. good and bad.. good that on my small laptop screen the photo looks super clear when I click.. bad because on this small screen.. it's way too small.. and the thumbnail is blurry to me now .. have to go use the desktop and see how that looks .. but I do like that the photos are really crisp when I click

Dunno. It's very slow on my laptop (Win 7 with Firefox) and the pictures are smaller.

I think Dave must have made the smaller size again? I'm getting a smaller photo again of Zuzu's cat, 9 1/8" x 6 3/4" which I think is what it was first time, I put it in my post before the size was changed to larger then a little smaller.
