Congratulations, Kassia! You're off to a good start. After your seeds sprout, like the tomatoes, uncover them. They'll get the best light that way, and air flow to prevent damp off. Only cover overnight for frost, then uncover in the morning when frosty conditions are over.
Now don't get discouraged if the plants seem to stay very small. It's what they do at first. But as the weather warms, they'll take off fast. My tomatoes are still tiny, but once the weather stays consistently warm, and days continue to grow longer, those seedlings shoot up.
It looks like we had a good (and needed) rain overnight. But we're also in for 3 cold days and nights. I wanted to plant some of this stuff!
