I received an email today from High Country Gardens today that my 3 orders of plants are shipping next Monday.

Their plants are in a greenhouse in Denver.

That is very good packaging! I love the way it contains the entire plant inside the plastic thing. That looks like something more places should do. I might have to visit their site and check them out!

I already got another order together but I can't place it now, I just don't know where I would put them. Mostly Salvia and Coral Bells but If I need anything at all I will check with them first! Whoohoo, love this company!

Yes, their greenhouse is in Denver. Hard to believe!

When I emailed them about my first two orders not shipping the end of April, they said because of the weather in Denver (where their greenhouse is), they couldn't ship them then.

I emailed them and said, "I thought the plants were shipping from New Mexico. Why are they in a greenhouse in Denver?"

They stated HCG was sold and the plants are in a greenhouse in Denver.

So, hopefully, all three orders ship next Monday.

That is what I don't like. If I order from a company in Carolina I want Carolina grown plants, because they do well here. If they send plants that are grown in Michigan, I have a problem with the harvest time and adjustment period. If they ship in June, it is already too late to plant things because they don't have time to put down good roots before it gets hot. If I baby them for a month or so they will be fine but that should be my decision and not theirs.

I've had great results with their plants though. They sell so many tough plants.
