And - I am glad this one smells really very delicious of Chocolate, since the Bulbo echinolabium continues to bloom and spike at the other side of the cage.
Encyclia tampensis 'Chocolate' seemingly blooming forever.

edit - I just learned that this is actually Enc plicata, not tampensis!

and older flowers

edit - in addition to this not being tampensis, but plicata, this also may be a different clone in that very same pot. I will have to watch the other spikes very closely.

Lost mine. Sad
Wonderful stuff in bloom there. My plants are just starting to get past the pouting stage about moving outside. They got sunburns despite all my efforts and many dropped leaves and a few hangers on from the winter let go. But now some are growing spikes. Love Twinkle and the Den flowers and the foliage is unlike any Den I've seen. Great show!

Jim, sorry to hear about your Mom. Hospice care can be a real blessing at these times, but it's always hard.

Cym Amazing 'Marlow Orchids' is amazing! Looks so delicate.

That one is not the one that looked like peas in a pod. Still waiting on that one, so I think you'r right about it being a July bloomer. This one took forever to open.

Just a test! Here's the other one. I can see 5 and maybe 6 buds now. It is moving along fairly fast.
