Geez Ursula, I think you've got it. If I translate what you say into Spanish, and play with a couple of letters that wern't clear on the tag, it works. This nursery is an outlet for a grower in Venezuela that is constantly coming up with new varieties. He is located in Sarasota and comes up for the orchid shows in Tampa. I always head straight for his table as he has the coolest plants and the prices are reasonable. You may want to check him out at www.plantiolaorquidea.com.

You're my hero!

Jim I tip my hat to you.

Jim,
yes - they have nice and interesting plants! They do come to some of the Shows around here, the last one for me being the SEPOS at Longwood garden this Spring. I know I bought something from their table.

Bree, your Zygocolax pimpate 'radiance' is certainly an interesting one. Lovely colors. How large are the blooms.

Brassocattleya Hoku Gem 'Freckles' HCC/AOS opened it's first flower for me yesterday. Not crazy about the color, but I guess they change to yellow as they age? Marble Branch Farms says they have one that has not been without blooms for 5 years.

Susan, I see nothing wrong with 'Freckles', and yes, it will change to yellow with spots as it ages. It's a nice Hoku Gem.
