Me, too!! All I kept thinking of was loss of my photography and the enjoyment of wandering around the garden everyday and how long after surgery, if needed, would it take before I could start deadheading again! I am feeling a huge sigh of relief!
I asked goldenfish to post her orchis plants. She has kindly put them in the database! http://cubits.org/orchids/db/d...
I'm thinking of buying and potting some.
Ascda Peddler's Velvet Gold is opening a spike. It would have been nice if a Japanese beetle had not damaged some blooms. ( the beetle became "toast" for the Gouramis.)
Laelia purpurata 'Delicata' opened today. I still miss my pretty, dark lipped purpurata which bit the dust in our wet Spring last year, but I could get used to this one.....
Finally an orchid opened!! This Encyclia ionocentra has been budded for months. When I put it outside it sulked so I brought it back in. Then it opened!
Here is a Den unicum that just arrived with flowers way past peak. Looks like the pseudobulb is very dehydrated. Well it picked the right place to hydrate!!
