Todd, you have good reason to love the Vuylstekeara Camouflage 'Everglades'. It's a beauty.

Kathy, beautiful Masdevallia and that last picture you posted of it is a classic.

The cymbidium I got from Laurel has fought through the cold and is blooming. I love it. Here is Cym Leodogran 'Cradlemont'.

Jim

Brassia Memoria Fritz Boedeker 'Witch Doctor'. I've had it for years and it is a reliable bloomer.

Brassia are the one group of Odonts I don't do well...I think it's because they prefer more heat than the others.

Some stuff is blooming here this week. The light wasn't optimal today since the ceiling was getting covered with snow, but the flash took care of that...
Walking into the greenhouse one gets hit with a huge dose of very delicious Anise, the Dendrochilum glumaceum is opening a bunch of spikes. (This one is definitely not hay-scented as one always reads.)

Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite 'Ursula' is putting on a pretty show. The deciduous nature of this Orchid x is due to the influence of the Calanthe Rozel parent. I don't mind, at least it will not turn into a huge plant.

And the little Slc Dream Catcher is starting up. This one is a really nice window-sill Cattleya, staying fairly small and compact.
The petals will straighten out as the bloom matures.

Yum, anise!!! Love them all. I've become a fan of all Coelogynes and Dendrochilums!! Love the Slc and looking forward to the flat petal form.
Here's Slc. Hsin Buu Lady 'Y.T.' with all 3 buds open and closest to the actual color. I had to read my big camera book and use PS Elements to get it close. Reds can be so challenging.

Thanks, Ursula. Sometimes I go nuts trying to get the drama on "film" so you all know why I'm so excited. Digital cameras sometimes balk but I was determined!!

Great dispaly Kathy and Ursula. We are currently getting that storm but oinly got 2" then it turned to rain and it is now 40 F.

Check out my paphiopedilum gratrixianum...it will never bloom this good again! Wish I could enter it to be judged!
