Sorry to hear it Jim. Very cold here tonight. I'm planning on traveling to CT tomorrow for J&L's open house. I'm trying to only wear one buying shoe!! But that's so hard in the snow!

Love the way my new dark red Cym. Beacon Fire 'Cecil Park' is unfolding. I was told to hang it so it could be pendant but so far it's growing upright. I chose it because it was the darkest red. A bit less brown in real life!

Bill you are such a good addition to the growers here. I have never seen such a happy Tolumnia!! SLC Jamie Hollingsworth comes in my fav pink-orange combo. That is a really different Phal. Love it and Colmanara Wild Willie Pacific Princess is just wonderful. Great shot too, BTW. I overwater so I kill all the plants that grow like weeds for you! Sometimes I wish I had 30 plants instead of hundreds so I could grow each one to perfection. You are inspiring me but I think it's too late to downsize!! Rolling on the floor laughing

Don't you just love the Den kingianum? Smiling At Orchid Shows, Waldor Orchids likes to place humongous plants of Dk in full gear at the corner of their exhibits. People will always check where that wonderful scent comes from.

wow nice bill. Yeah all your orchid look pretty happy.
Funny hearing you's talk about den. king, it grows native here in Australia. Too easy to grow for me not challenging enough like Paphs. I think everyone that has at least one orchid here has one of them or a D. Speciosum. hehe! Rolling my eyes.
Thumb of 2011-01-23/bree/6572a0 One flower left but a little bud that may open.

I hear you Bree! In our climate here it means leaving it outside longer in the Fall, when most other Orchids are inside already. Or have a cool room for them until they are ready to bloom...

Thanks for the kind comments. I'm afraid that may be it for a while.
Ursala, I see you live in Fair Lawn. My wife grew up there over by Herold's on Saddle River Rd. Her dad still lives in the same house. I grew up in Paramus.
