I know you wern't talking to me but I found it an Interesting question so I went out and counted. I have nine and many of them are brassavolas. I mist them heavily everyday.

If we count vandas, add 25 to that number for a total of 34 and the instructions are the same. Mist daily.

I just skimmed through this thread tonight for the first time. I am in the beginning stages of my 'Orchid Obsession', and let me tell you.....

My head is spinning....

All those names, all those orders, mind boggling really.....

I need to get a basic visual of orchid plant groups in my head so I can follow you all. OK, I am going to start reading the articles now.

Lindsey, I bet your greenhouse will be beautiful. Glad to see you have a concrete block base. That is going to be a big help with regulating the temperature in there. They will absorb water too and cool it down when you need it to be cooled.

I can't wait to see it brimming full of Orchids. Be sure to post progress pictures Rolling my eyes.

It is overwhelming at first but I'm sure you will have years to learn and build on your knowledge Diana.
I'm very pleased tonight because I bought a Ascofinetia Peaches, finally, on ebay. I have been looking for it for many years. http://www.flickr.com/photos/2...
