Sedum rubrotinctum or jelly bean sedum endures cold temps very well, and I love the deep red to chocolate brown color changes it makes when it is stressed. So easy to propagate too with its leaf cuttings. As with most succulents, keep the soil very well draining, use shallow containers as the roots are so shallow rooted. I grow these ones outdoors year round, full to partial sun. Our winters are mostly wet and cold, but this January, it has been cooler and drier than usual. It gets deeper color variations when in full sun and at the same time feeling cold.

This one gets the sun a lot longer.
This one gets mostly partial sun and late afternoon sun.
On this one I was experimenting if these succulents will like being in orchid bark and some kanuma soil. They thrive well too in this media.
And have gotten some cuttings last Oct 2012 for my first succulent ball planter. Has transitioned to the cold season quite well too in this set-up.
