Thanks for the info, Tim.
I actually like the canoe-thing on this (well, on the sepals). Makes it look like a ninja-star, all the sharp pointy bits sticking out like that.
I did see another one for sale with a similar look:

The sepal canoeing on Tyler's Tattoo (Maher, 2015) seems similar to mine.
I guess only time will reveal the true look of this seedling. Things may indeed evolve.
Another edit: I recall now that that bi-color flower I forced open as I thought I had missed it that day and wanted the pollen before it closed up (image taken in the evening). However, the subsequent bloom revealed to me that it begins opening in the evening before, and I was just panicking for nothing having missed nothing.
The second and final flower (I had to cut the scape to save the seedling) looks slightly less canoey for the petals, although is still unmistakably canoeing:

Edited to add: Talking of evolution. My problem seems to be I only have time to take photos in the morning, and sometimes they are not fully open.
Here is my newest one shown above (the one ending in "4": I number them in sequential order of who flowers first), but later on when I got home:
I have a few others that look quite different in the morning and evening.
Having to go around twice a day to photograph seedlings is annoying, though.
