Thank you Tim, Will and Gary, weirdo is...weird. I just don't know if I have the interest to really work it. Yes Tim, Painted on Jeans has been a super parent. Easy to use, almost to easy, and crosses well with anything. I haven't used POJ the past two years instead focusing on the kids lines, Weird Anatomy and One Planet.

Nice ones SueVT! I like the Tiger Shark Twist kid a lot.

Hurray! for no yellow Sue. What a wonderful surprise! Crossing Fingers! right along with you for more surprises.

Thanks Debra! Both of those are hopefully futures. Crossing Fingers! The lavender WW x 17-58 is one of the first ones I see as I walk to the sdlg patch. So cool and refreshing in the morning with a strong blue cast. They both have a year or two before the line out test.
Yours are looking fabulous on rebloom. Love the purple Sexy Samantha sdlg and the White Tooth kid. The white seedling is super nice too. Thumbs up

Oh Ed....the purple. Lovey dubby You may convince me I need more toothies in the garden! There's currently 3...I think. With two others coming this fall.

Char, my favourite from your post is Painted on Jeans x Let the Sea Resound. Beautiful! Weirdo is interesting, I will be curious to see what you get from your crosses.
SueVT, from yours I would pick Unbridled Spirit x Tiger Shark Twist. Your broken colour seedling is lovely!
Debra, the first white seedling is my favourite from your group. It is beautiful with the big green throat.
Ed, both of yours are great. I hope I-841 continues to perform for you.

Fun, Sue. Your bloom looks like it decided it just wants to be one half EITPF and one half HNF. Later blooming can be quite a useful trait. Thumbs up

It has been raining here for the past three days, some of the time the rain has been really heavy. Today it is cold, as well, but the rain has finally let up.

Orion, I have a completely different view of C2XC1212.
I like it's form and eye.
It looks pretty tall too.
Lots of buds.
How's the branching?

"Wiggles" doesn't open fully. On the plus side, it is still bud building and it is pod fertile like crazy.

I agree with 3Will on seedling C2XC1212. Nice, symmetrical form and bright yellow eye. I looked at the parentage and it goes back to some very nice green throated cultivars.

Thanks for your comments on the C2XC1212 seedling. Thank You!
I guess I just dismissed it outright because it was not what I wanted (stripes with a nice green throat). So I have not looked closely at it (indeed it already has flagging tape on it to be discarded).

The flower is a good size. And yes, the scape is firm and reasonably tall for a less-than-1-year-old seedling. Not sure about branching, I will check later.

Today I did get some stripes from a different cross:
Pitter Patter x Pink Stripes, seedling PPXPS212:
Thumb of 2022-08-11/plasko20/ad1ad4
This is a sibling of one I showed before that may have spots/splotches. This current one seems to have inherited the stripes, while the other got some spots. Thumbs up

That's a good result, Orion. I tip my hat to you.

But, you should unflag the big yellow throated one Lovey dubby . There are many [including me] who would take it should you decide to remove it from your inventory.

Dave,
I will unflag it for now for a different reason.
Upon justnow closer inspection of my photos of this I actually found that it might have a few white stripes, just that the flower is so pale they barely show up at all.

I had worried about this possibility last year for some reason. "What if you had a stripey flower, but it was white stripes on a white background?" Guess now I know!

Except it is white stripes on a very pale peach background. So, the seedling might be OK for breeding with something much darker. Thinking

Here is a different bloom of it. Look at the top petal. There is a definite big white defined area to the right of the mid-rib. Definitely not water marking. Also to the left of that midrib there are smaller thinner white lines. In the original photo I showed, there are similar patterns.

Further flowers, I will be looking at with much more intensity to see if this is true, or all in my head.
Thumb of 2022-08-11/plasko20/73fa12
Thanks to all for making me go back and examine one more time. I guess I did get stripes, just the wrong background color. Whistling Thank You!

And 2 more unbloomed siblings with scapes left to go.
