I won't cut any more than I have too. I hope there will still be 2-3' of vine. I may have to tie it to whatever I rig up to start out. Can 'Lady Margaret' take some shade? She sure did like water last summer. It didn't take very long for her to get thirsty and let me know last summer. She was in full sun except the last hour or so of the day.
I hope it does too. When my best friend was going to use our back yard to renew her vows, I used super bloom on my young passies and it worked, I haven't done it since tho

Mine is not growing well after the mangling it got coming out of winter. It's just sitting there mostly. Lots of little green buds where there used to be leaves, but they are neither growing nor dying. Do they like warmer weather? I think it might have already been warmer when I picked up Lady Margaret last year and it's been way too many years and another location when I grew a different passie. It's all set up with lots of sun and a new place to climb, but it's sulking

It does seem to like our much warmer conditions now, finally getting into the low 80's to low 90's leaves growing bigger and faster. I have been watering daily here and spritzing the leaves, our humidity is too low, no rain.
Donald most of mine are sulking. The lady Margaret is going gangbusters most days 5 to 6 blooms
The incense is growing like crazy but no blooms
The blue caerulea at the new place is blooming real well
The sweet little Anastastia had a bloom about to open and the snails got it

My passie is just enduring our ongoing heat wave nicely, just got to water and spritz ahead before the triple digits shows up. No blooms yet, but since it is my first year to grow it, I find it fun to see how those tendrils wind up really tight.
I think the only goal my passie has this year is to see how much it can frustrate me. It finally put out a half dozen growth points that are actually growing, but 80% of the plant is just a green stem with incipient green bud growth that doesn't grow or die. I keep threatening to just cut it all back.
Tarev, looking real pretty and healthy.
Donald I agree with Tarev
I have four buds on my Victoria and if the snails get them like they did my new baby Anastasia, y'all will hear me scream on west Texas and California

Thanks Tarev and you are so welcome. I am so excited this is a new passie
I've grown passies for many years if you have a question I might be able to help
