So we picked up this Lavender Lady when we decided to help out the Gulf Frits we have seen in the neighborhood.

Over the weekend we spotted this hidden among another vining plant!
Thumb of 2016-07-05/Werepanda/500ec8

My wife tells me that this was given to us around 10 years ago and that it never did anything at all, in fact we had assumed it died off (I won't be crass enough to mention that she had an absolutely BLACK thumb at that time). So if anyone can ID this sucker it would be greatly appreciated. I've seen some in this thread that may match, but my eye isn't good enough to say for sure.

Thanks everyone!

My passie - Passiflora edulis 'Frederick' is alive but is not in any blooming mood. Still learning what it likes and will see how it grows this winter when our rainy season actually comes:

Just a Fall update, as overnights are going cooler, but we still manage low 70's daytime, I saw this one, I think a lone bud. Don't know if it will try to attempt a bloom. October was really nice got a bit more rain, but November has gone drier, though we are getting good humidity levels overnight. Usually we get 35% and lower humidity during the warm months. This November we are finally getting 70% to 80% overnight, even though it is not raining, just cool temps.

Just enjoying my Passiflora edulis 'Frederick' bloom to fade stage, still a beauty to the end. I like how it gradually seems to compartmentalize itself as it fades:

My red passi is up front in a pot; been there since spring. It has rooted itself into the ground. It's mulched with pine neeeles. A freeze is coming tomorrow evening - should I pull it up and store in garage?

Betsy, I think it depends what cultivar you have. My Passiflora edulis 'Frederick' is said to be hardy to 20F, and we also have a freeze warning later, so will see how it goes.

Good luck, hope you can shelter your passie.

Just documenting how my Passiflora edulis 'Frederick' grows this cold season:
We have had several nights of freeze warnings already this December, so far it is holding quite well. It is also helping that the city trees are going deciduous now so there is more sunlight coming in.
