Love the soft colors of Rainbow Maker. Voila Francois is always a favorite - great bud count and branching. I am not sure what color Berry Delicious is supposed to be, but I love your photo.

Lovely photos, as usual, Debra. You always get such beautiful photos of Asian Fairy Bluebird. It never performed that well for me. It made really small fans here.

Ann - Asian Fairy Bluebird makes small fans for me too, and it never has many buds. But the good thing about it is that it multiplies rapidly. I get a lot of flowers because of the sheer number of scapes. Here's another photo of the clump with six blooms from today.

I have cool nights, more so than where I lived 2 years ago, so many of my daylilies don't open properly, or at least not as wide and rolled back as most of everyone's shots (I have trade list (and wish list too) if anyone is interested for those daylilies that need warmer nights, check my profile) but here are a few from this morning. We are having a rare-for-us bit of rain. (usually dry from May through Nov.)

In our zone if the prolif starts early enough it will bloom on the scape before we cut it. But usually they bloom the following season. Most of the prolifs are the size of a mature plant before we cut the scape but even the smaller ones will bloom the following season. Keep in mind our growing season is pretty much year round; we don't get too long of cold spells.
