I'm "training" my squirrels! Hilarious!

The little birds won't feed if the furry rats are in the feeders....so ....

I'm putting stuff they (the squirrels) like in only one feeder...consistently, all the time. They, and the jays and the less timid chickadees can duke it out for those. The corn mix for the cardinals goes out on the deck, scattered, so that they get some too. The other two feeders just get finch food. Seems to be working fabulously, so far.

Front yard leaves today. I think all leaves are now off the tulep tree. I get my cortozone shot for the shoulder tomorrow. Can't wait. Yes it hurts going in, but I can't live on Advil.

Yes!

I learned the hard way to have the bird feeders only in areas that get regular mowing.

Our problem isn't with the feeders, it's the tulip trees that keep popping up where we don't want the, Love the tree, but not where it decides to grow new ones.

Wouldn't that be great if we had a traveling garden contingent to help each other when it was needed? Kinda like what my Gardening club does....
