Group hug Chelle, sorry about the power outage! Glad it's back on! Thumbs up
That is rough, especially when it's cold.
I remember a blizzard on the Cape, when I slept with mittens on and 2 parkas, with no power, so I sympathize!

We have propane heat, just no fan to move the air....so, it was an inconvenience only - thanks, all! I had filled large pots with snow and the most tender of our refrigerated foods, and they seem okay. Hugger, I don't know for sure (no TV news without juice), but it was enough! Rolling on the floor laughing

The trees will cover their own bare spots. They still have plenty of other branches...and it's a gloriously sunny day today, and about 40 degrees! I'm thinking about planting this big box of newly arrived bulbs first.... Rolling on the floor laughing ...the sale was much more than I could resist! Whistling

Funny, got my B&B package today, too - more blue Anemone blanda , Rozanne geraniums, Natascha phlox (now, *why* did I only order one???) Eranthis and some Arum italicum. Maybe these will live.

I don't have any of the others, but I love anemone blanda! I ordered some more too, I think....from somewhere... Hilarious! .....better go check *Blush* . If I did, it must have been in the heat of the sale frenzy....'cause I just remembered that mine are seeding in now. Blinking I'm a mess! Hilarious!

All around my yard you can see dirty little mashed down areas of snow piles (bulbs are protected beneath, I hope). It's not at all pretty now, but come Spring I'll forget all about it! Hurray!

No snow, but too cold to work in the garden.
