another thought... nothing against symbols, and they certainly keep the floating toolbar smaller, but it would be nice if there was a tool-tip when they're moused over

It also intrigues me that it says "fiwit's profile," but "your posts." It's referring to the same person in both cases -- is there a reason you chose to use the username instead of "your profile" ? Just curious. I'm all ears! I love it when you explain how your mind works on things like this... understanding the why behind something is often as valuable as learning how to do something. We cross-posted. A mouse-over too-tip would take care of that. Green Grin!

The username is displayed to show you that you are indeed logged in and what username you are logged in as. I didn't display the name twice because I thought that would look odd.

Ya know Dave, the super-kool thing is that you don't just listen to us, you make the changes as quickly as you can, instead of making us wait days/weeks/months/years for them. Hurray! Just one more of the fifty-bajillion reasons ATP is the first place I head for plant-related things. Thumbs up

Our Dave is still working. check out what happens to the floating menu bar when you go to a plant in the db. You no longer have to scroll to the bottom of the page to upload a photo, edit data or post a comment. Cool! Thumbs up
