Today my first year seedling of Big City Eye X bloomed ! It has a 5 inch bloom and I am so pleased and excited . This seed, as I have mentioned, was sent to me from Margaret in Canada. She is the Mom of my first daylily seedling. This has been fun Margaret. Can't wait till all the others bloom.

I did not change anything on that photo I posted so I guess it is true color. It did not really strike me as pink but I have had little time to enjoy the garden lately.

I've had 3 scape sightings! So looking forward to DLs in my garden!

Great news !

Today another daylily from seed sent by Margaret bloomed. This is Whooperee X. It measured 10 inches across tip to tip. It is GORGEOUS !!!

Wow! 10 inches! That is huge! Mucho Kudos!

First flower on Black Eye X Chicago Silver, 6" bloom. First flower on Night Beacon X Happy Returns, 4" bloom.

Thanks Margaret for saving me about 20 minutes of waiting that it would have taken to load those photos. I am having such fun seeing what treasures will open from the seed Margaret sent me.

Both blooms are lovely, fav is the BE X CS, I really like the deep rich color.
