I'm hoping dormancy and heavy snow cover let some of my babies survive. If not, I've learned a lot this past year (since I knew squat about semps in particular and succulents in general). So now to start hunting up my heat mats and getting my seed beds ready... MR

I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how well they have done come this spring. They love all that snow cover. Can't wait to see your first photos this spring.

My Rubellum Mahogany is going through the same changes as yours is tarev. Your photos are wonderful. And just look at all that sunshine in the wire basket photo.

I love watching that rubellum mahogany, I know it can go deeper burgundy all over, slow-mo color change
Yeah, that's all we got..sun, sun, sun..I like it but too dry, dry, dry..

We have had the most glorious sunshine here for about a week now, and it may last for another week. This should bring on major color in most of the semps.

I have been waiting to give a weather report
BRRRRRR today with lows in single digits tonight maybe,
and a chinook wind tomorrow expecting to get us into the 40s
and 50s or 60s by Friday. Then the bottom drops out again.

What a roller coaster weather forecast. Enjoy the sun and warm while it lasts Marilyn. I don't think I would cope very well with weather like that.

It has finally stopped snowing after three days and 10-14 inches out there. And they are saying "shovel while you can" because more is coming Wednesday. But we have some really cold weather coming too. I looked at the extended foercast and we may get some 50s or so in a week and 1/2. I am sure MR has had it even worse as she does not seem to get the sun breaks we do. And she gets much deeper snows too.

Bev, no ear muffs if you don't stick your head out the door while it is so cold. No broken bones either unless I slip while getting in and out of my recliner.

Be careful getting out of that recliner Marilyn.

We are having a most beautiful day today. Sunshine and mid 50's. It would be gloriously warm if it weren't for the little breeze we have.
I had a wonderful with Kevin and Cynda, walking around Kevin's semp beds, looking at some of his daffodil seedlings that are in bloom. I will post photos later today.
