Danica they are beautiful. You are going to love them. I do not like to water plants so they are perfect for me. I like the water once a month and they like it dry. They really are no fuss plants.

My Senecio articulatus is finally back with its leaves! Hurray! It pouted really bad when it was placed outdoors during the warmer months, gave me very few to no new leaves then. It also got sunburnt leaving a white dried out mark on one of the bare stems, so had to put it in a shadier area.

Photo comparison: during July 2013

Photo this Nov 2013, have moved the plant indoors in late Oct as night time temps are chilly. Now actively making more leaves.

Glad you enjoyed! I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a wide range of cactus to visit and explore every week. Not only do we have the outside gardens, but the curator has his greenhouse that includes some of the more tropical plants.

All the great succulent and Cacti pictures here have been great, and love the shared information too. I have learned about a few I have from your experiences and have gained from it.

@tarev,
You have me researching that Senecio articulatus. It reminds me of my Cissus. I like the succulents with more what we think of as leaves a lot. They seem to bridge a plant class gap somehow;... I tip my hat to you.

Aw, Chris - after I had to leave that lovely wreath I bought from you in Tennessee, you gotta love what you can grow! It would have shriveled like a raisin, here, lol...

I have a hanging glob that is made for a candle. I came up with a plan to use this as a summer and winter garden ornament.

I am going to plant it with tender succulents for the summer in the garden and

I have picked up two wire baskets to make a ball to hang on the stand with semps for winter interest.

I started a few tender succulents from leaves. It is amazing how easy they are propagating from a leaf. I just break off a leaf and set it on top of the soil. I do not even push them into the soil.

As fast as they are making plants by end of winter I should have a lot of tender succulents to make a fully covered ball. I have 8 pots going with leaves Hilarious!

and the succs growing in pots from just dropping a leaf in the pot.
