I can try to send some this summer Neal. It will require a different kind of packaging than TB's.

Sue - no offense. I know it is Amaryllis week. I wasn't aware that all banners in a plant week were of just those plants.

Sherry - looking at your pictures, you still have iris in bloom at the time the crepe myrtle are in bloom. Are they re-bloomers, or does the iris season run late in your area?

Isn't it interesting that peak season is so close for such vastly different climates.

That is why this site is so wonderful. I can enjoy very early bloom seasons, my own blooms and then all the other peak bloom times. That takes me into iris planting time in late June and that takes me through September. Then the rebloomers throughout the summer peak here in September thru November. December is a busy month and here we are back to January with sites opening early, making early orders and showing our lovely photos from last years gardens. Sanity, or the lack thereof, is only an iris photo away. smiles

Oh no offense taken Leslie! nodding I just figured not everyone may be aware of the theme week. I try to pick enough banners to fill the theme week if there are enough submitted of that subject.

Leslie, I have a few Iris that are almost constant bloomers that would bloom at the same time as the Crape Myrtle, but in the area around the trees, I don't have any. The trees bloom in summer.. late July into August.

Any suggestions on a rebloomer for this bed?

Daylilies! Green Grin!

My rebloomers don't bloom until Oct-Nov but I only have 3 so not sure if that's normal for other rebloomers. I have a new bloom scape in fact right now on Honey Scoop. It rebloomed in Oct., now trying again.

Clarence is a dependable re-bloomer and I think the soft lavender and white would go nicely.

I love Clarence, but it is not doing well for me, and has never rebloomed Sighing! Does it rebloom for you in the summer too, Marilyn?

I had Clarence and it didn't do anything much for me. I finally tossed it out.

Most of our rebloom here is too late and gets frost, so I don't buy an iris for rebloom. For those in warmer areas though, rebloom may be worth it!

I also have Clarence. It blooms and increases like mad -- but it never reblooms for me. Sherry -- how long have you had Clarence? It seemed to be a slow start for me, but once established, it did great.

Thank you Marilyn and Mary Ann for all your work on trying to help me identify my No ID's.
Marilyn, I'm not sure on Her Royal Highness and Tag #8. Your picture in the database looks like a possibility but the other two photo's make me have questions. Might be test plant time.
Tag 12 and Joyce Terry looks like a VERY good possibility. Will GET a test iris for that one.
I think Dutch Custard is too new, although I can't remember when I got this but I think it may have been around 2010 ish.
Tag 41 and Ringo also looks really good to me. I bought Ringo a few years ago but it hasn't bloomed yet Shrug! (Maybe this spring).
Marilyn, I also love Jewel Tone it is a very pretty iris!!!
Tom, Jeanne Clay Plank is gorgeous!
Mary Ann, Thank you for the Jordan's Joy hint, but I think the beards are different, but it gives me a good excuse to buy Jordan's Joy since I've wanted to buy it anyway Rolling on the floor laughing
Again I love everyone's photographs and a lot more has been added to my wish/want list!

Mary Ann,
It's been in the ground for a couple of years. It didn't bloom the first season, and just had a couple of stalks this past spring. There have been several in that bed that have been slow to start, and I'm wondering the gopher I caught in there affected things..
