Beautiful garden, Annette! Bet it's amazing to stroll through right now!

Huang049, your tree peony is absolutely stunning. It still amazes me that any plant can have stems strong enough to support those huge, gorgeous flowers. I hope one day to have tree peonies that look like yours. How old is that tree? Do you prune yours at all? It is perfectly shaped and lovely. And welcome to the peony forum!

Is Blue Saphire first to go?

Yes, Jasmin. Normally the Chinese one bloom first, and then the Japanese TP, my Blue Sapphine is 7 years old, it's really put on a show this year, had 29 blooms on it.

TP don't need to prune, but I always pull up the new growth or thin out some of the leaf, to keep TP ventilated.
This Blue Sapphire is my first correction, it's 7 years old.
I'm glad everyone is enjoying it!!!!

Thanks Karen, Yumi is a great addition to any garden! It has the best shade of yellow. The pink noid also has a wonderful color, and it's a small plant.

I really like Sea Shell. Lovely, lovely peonies Annette. Thumbs up

Yan, I am thinking of buying Blue Sapphire for my front garden. I heard Blue Sapphire is kind of small (3'x3'.) I don't have too much space left, and the only spot left is in the front yard, kind-of semi-shade position. I am waiting to see how other TPs in that flower bed will bloom. I am trying to extend the season.

Great, Jasmin,
You can check with "treepeonygarden", they had more info about the shape and bloom time for each TP.
Here comes the second TP, "Fragrant Jade".it fixes for the name, smell really good when it blooms, but the flower from change every year, very unstable.
Hope everyone like it!
