Hi Becky..... Thank You! Yes, this sdlg. is by far and away, the most dramatic sdlg. I have ever grown. I will be moving this one to the main garden. The cross is 'Fourth of July in Georgia' (Gaskins) X 'Deadliest Catch' purchased on the LA from 'Ruby', seed seller. What a lucky find. I have already spread the pollen from this one. Thumbs up

Vickie, the "etherial" description on Never Been Kissed reminded me of David Kirchhoff's descriptions. He could make manure sound pleasing.

Alex, your seedling is grand.

Definitely winding down here now Sighing! Just a couple of pictures for today. There are more in flower but they're ones I've already posted and the flowers were better then also:

'Dublin Elaine'

Flowers on a clump of 'Variegated Kwanso' that has reverted to green but the flowers are still the same. Not sure if it should therefore be labeled 'Green Kwanso' or just plain 'Kwanso'! Or just "Not Flore Pleno" Hilarious!

I just got BETTY BOOP from Bill Maryott in July, and it is the cutest little small flowered spider -- absolutely love it!

JENNIFER TRIMMER - Another beauty -- FFOE!

And the next three are reblooms:
STAR CHILD

DRAGON KING

MARY ALICE STOKES - The spring blooms were almost pure red with a little white border, but in the summer I get these hand-painted effect blooms!

Thanks Claudia, it is a true star. Alex I got Loco Bo at a plant fair 2 years ago and I just love it. It didn't re-bloom last year but it was only a single fan then. Now there are 4 fans so I'm hoping Smiling

BTW, I have to figure out how to add my info to my posts, but I am in Ontario, Canada, so a northern garden. Zone-wise, I am about halfway between zone 4a and 4b in Canada.

Welcome! touchofsky, beautiful pics. I suppose being in England we have more plants blooming in August. I have quite a few more, I will get more photos and post them later. Unfortunately we have had very little sun so far this summer and the earlier blooms were poor. I had so many that didn't open properly Shrug!
