Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing I remember the hippies!! My trailer park was in Las Vegas NV and the grateful dead came every year!! They would stop our bus and check it to see if they were trying to get in! They would use our hoses to take baths and try to camp in our lawns!

Me too! I still have things to add but I seem to be slowing down. I really don't want to add anything once trading starts but I might have no choice. Sad

That's okay! Thumbs up Hopefully next time around will be at a better time of year for everyone and it won't seem rushed at all. The kinks will work themselves out and I anticipate things will be easier in the future.

I have not done many group swaps , I run into ,this ; Fewer seeds of some to satisfy trade , more of others , as to wants ,
Something is always more wanted than another ,

Then their are the feral Kittens, I had three Geranium seed pods from my Bonsai 3yr old geranium ,, Kitten Fatality , they got pulled of the table with a string , They were not offered ,

Yep , another the goat ate my homework story , Of course my Raccoon and Ground Hog Gopher stories are still there also ,, (I am not sure as to laughing sometimes ,
Like my Lupines , that were Gorgeous looking , and the Ground hog ate them all with a Pussy Willow ,,

Although I still have a LOT more decision-making to do with my daylily seeds, I've put a dozen or so up in the seed swap, so that's a start! Anyone looking for beautiful--and edible, I've been told!--flowers in their garden, give them a try. (I haven't eaten daylily blooms or buds yet, but I intend to try one next year! Last year I made the habit of pollinating every daylily bloom, so there were none to break off and taste. Big Grin I've heard daylily enthusiasts say that they have a light taste, like cucumber.)

Older ditch lily type Roots , can be boiled like a potato also , (i know , you knew that ,)
No taste though , bland root , like Jerusalem artichoke , etc .

Be interesting to see to likes ,
DnD I put another of yours on my wish list , hoping I have some you want , I am overshadowed by non cross pollinated offers when it comes to your want listings

It's there anyone in here interested in any particular daylily seeds? Whether that's to say that you know you want a cross that should produce a "large-bloom lavender" or you see cv's listed in my seed swap list that you like, but haven't seen the right combination listed that you wanted...

If there's something you're looking for or want more of, please let me know. If I have it, that might help me decide which seeds to part with!

Jim, red is something I can definitely do! Red, red-purple, and near-white are the colors I'm focusing on in my hybridizing program, so I made a lot of crosses with reds this past season. I'll see about adding a few more either today or in the next couple of days. I'm glad someone is interested in my daylily seeds!

Cheryl and others, do you think it would help if I posted pictures of the different daylily pod/pollen parents in this thread so you can see the parents easier and know which ones you want? (Please note, though, that I might not be able to sit down to do this until tomorrow because it takes a little bit of time and my husband and MIL changed plans on me today and my 45 minute dinner plans just turned into more of a 3-hour plan.)

I am interested in them. I really haven't had a chance to go through them . Hubby has been home for the holidays and it's hard for me to research when he calls me every 10 minutes.

Just wanted to remind any daylily lovers to check my plant list. If you see a daylily you like just ask me and I'll tell you what crosses I have with it. You pick it, I'll post it for you to dib on. I have over 200 crosses so I can't begin to list them all!
