Elena, I won't be able to check before the swap starts tonight. Are you able to look and list tomorrow or the next night, by chance? If so, I will try to let you know by mid-day tomorrow what might interest me.

The good news is that the first night is limited to 3 requests, so you don't have to worry that 'all of the good stuff will be gone' (although it's ALL good stuff, right?)...if something crazy happens the first night, you don't miss out on TOO much and it gives you a chance to figure out for the next night. Also, your tickets are still there until you use them and they DO ACCUMULATE...if you don't use your tickets right off the bat, they don't go away. Also, you can make requests at ANY TIME. (Sorry for the caps, it's just for people who are skimming to be able see.) What that means is that if you want to use your 3 tickets at 4 in the morning, you can. If you want to build them all up until the third day at noon, you can do that. Smiling You don't have to do everything right at 7pm EST, but I do encourage it if you can. Smiling

As it is technology communications are really great ,, but - but- but - then you have system changes , tons of info about the phones and pads that do everything ,,( sort of like having to have "Know -it- all" syndrome , or being the Wizard ) ,, of course then there is the Jamaican lottery , the usual " well we are to save you " while there goes all you use to have " calls and coms ,, besides congratulations . your photo just made the latest orbital mapping device ..
but , but ,, but ,, Blinking
Oh yeah ,, I don't forget that new Mercedes ,, , Only good idea in the Bunch ,,, but ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

...I went in and changed the ticket multiplier to 4...which means that tomorrow you all should have 8 more tickets! That makes the breakdown for this swap the following number of tickets awarded...

Day 1: 3 tickets
Day 2: 8 tickets
Day 3: 12 tickets
Day 4: 16 tickets
Day 5: 20 tickets
Day 6: 24 tickets
Day 7: 28 tickets
Day 8: 32 tickets

Remember that trading ends at midnight on January 11, which is actually 7pm EST on January 10th. Make sure you have all of your seed requests in by then! Smiling

I'm going to change the max seed packets to 120--which, based on prior experience, is probably far more packets than most members will end up requesting anyway, but will atleast allow you to take in and provide a home for 120 packets if you would like--which means that, in theory*, if you use ALL of your tickets awarded EVERY day, you will actually have 9 remaining tickets on the last day.

* I say 'in theory' because it would only work out that way if no one requested any of your seeds. You'll notice that the more seeds you 'sell', the more bonus tickets (or fractions of bonus tickets, really) you earn, so the last day is really more of a 'catch up' day for anyone that maybe had to miss a couple of days, wanted to take time to think about their 'purchases', or wanted to scoop up whatever is left behind by others.

This is what I'm working on for my garden. I just need to add a button hole on top so I can put string thru it and attach to my plants so I don't loose track of what flower/fruit/vegetable that I want to save seed from! I'm also going to make some others that will be a marker, or snow flake so if I'm not home I can order my husband which ones to drag on Hilarious!

Adorable cheryl!

Jimard brought up something that I'm on the fence about. I don't have alot to offer and my wants far outpace what I can contribute. I do have the yard to plant what I want so it is not a matter of being greedy for me but I wouldn't want to upset anyone by taking to much either. Let's face it, there will be more swaps and in the fall I will be able to pay it forward. How does everyone feel about this?

It is a thing , I tip my hat to you.
I have around a hundred to trade several here have more , like 75 listed and 3 to 5 of some , lots of seeds , Blinking Hurray!
10 people taking a 120 ain't no problem at all Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Karen, I think that much is up to you. I don't think anyone in this swap is keeping track of your contribution to dibs ratio and, even if they were, I don't think any of our members mind that you get a lot of seeds. Without you 'adopting' or seeds, they would be extras going to waste. Crying ( Hilarious! )

That said, however, it sounds like you might be sort of a 'rules' lover like me and may be concerned about breaking the unspoken tit-for-tat rule of fairness that is embedded in our society and daily lives. If your conscience is eating at you like it often is wont to do in these situations, you are more than welcome to ease it with a pay it forward system of your choosing or other means that you like. Thumbs up I can't say I know exactly how it would work, but I'm okay with you setting it up with other members. Please know that anything you get from me in this swap, though, comes with no strings attached, no expectations, no hard feelings whatsoever. Please just give my seeds a great home. Big Grin
