85°f and beautiful today. The guy is still up there putting in the concrete. Once he is done nothing will go to that register on the first floor except the water from 2 ACs, that's not very much. He was able to double up on the glass block skylight so we will still have light in that area.

Jonna .. believe it or not, the Can/US exchange is just horrifying .. costs us close to $.25 to buy an American dollar ..so, when we go over, we have to keep that in mind and incorporate it into the cost of what we are purchasing.

40 and sunny currently. Last day of 60s before dropping down to 50s for high for a few days.

Back home and back at my desk today. Since that cold front moved in, it's only 65F currently and only supposed to get up to 75F today (warmer than it was in Laredo either way). Now that Fall is officially officially here, I'm going to just have to adjust. Slowly creeping towards Winter. Glad to be home.

85°f now with a predicted high of 89°f today, low predicted to be 70°f which is pretty darn cold for here. We have totally stopped using the AC and have all the patio doors and windows open in the bedroom, it's wonderful to have that fresh air again. Hard to sleep late though as the sun comes in as far as the foot of the bed. I find myself scooching up to keep my feet out of it so I can sleep longer
