It's not: Amigo's Guitar, Milestone, Gypsy Lullaby, Dutch Master and a few others that I've ordered or researched.. It's such a good grower and bloomer......

Sherry ~ Have you figured out which one it is yet? I have seen some similar ones at Sutton's website which look very close.

Bandwidth, Bold Pattern, Color Shift...

Whatever it is, I would like to know where to get it. Lovey dubby Lovey dubby Lovey dubby

I have! Robin recognized it as one she'd seen in an Australian catalog. I'm about 100% certain it's "Fresh As Paint". It was hybridized in 1971about 40 minutes away from me by Edgar Sellman and introduced by Ruth Rees.

Joe, Total Recall was the first thing that came into mind when I saw it as well.

Sherry, glad you have an ID, that's a nice one.

Sherry - what is the pretty soft gold and white iris beside Fresh As Paint in the picture above?

I think that one was identified as 'Spiced Custard'.. I may still have it someplace.. I liked the color and moved it around the garden when I needed a warm yellow.. It was an order I got years ago from Schreiner's as 'Brown Lasso'.. It took me a few years to realize it wasn't just the color manipulation in their catalog that made it look different from the picture (I can be pretty dense sometimes).

Your Spiced Custard looks much nicer than mine. Though my poor baby has been in a pot for too long.

Is it a TB or an intermediate? First thought was Apollo's Touch or Tour de France. Are the standards white? The picture makes them look pinkish.

It is a TB with white standards.
Thank you for you help. This is a noid Iris I bought for 50 cents. Oddly enough, this summer I bought Tour de France and will compare the two when they bloom. I appreciate your ideas. Ann

Also look at Echo De France. It is like tour but lighter falls.

Hello Ann,
Is there any orange on the beards or just yellow? I would also take a look at Neutron Dance.
How long ago did you buy it?

My noid was purchased as a very small rhizome and it has taken several years to bloom. It was 2014 or 2015 when I planted it. I have Neutron Dance and these falls are darker.
I don't think there was any orange on the beards. They are yellow with a bit of white.
I'll check into Echo de France.
Thank you for all your help! Ann

The yellow veining in the standards, and the haft marks look similar to Alpine Harmony, but A.H. has orange on the beard at the throat.

A few of my grandmother's NOIDs in her garden this weekend, looking beautiful in the afternoon sun.

That red is in the Tom's World Famous red NoID category. Could be so many, beautiful without a name.

Thanks Sherry. I'm not sure it is, since the photos in the database don't have anywhere near as much white around the beards (some have none at all).

I have a yellow NoID that I bought at wally world two years ago in a fire sale (paid next to nothing for them) but I thought I had bought "Harvest of Memories" and "Savannah Sunset". I can tell which "yellow's" are Harvest of Memories, but this one is not "Savannah Sunset" and is just a prolific as HoM. This one has bloomed 4 times this year in two different locations around my house. So any help in identifying the dark veined yellow something would be greatly appreciated.
